Currently, there is two most commonly used laboratory scale ultrasound equipment. They are an ultrasonic cleaning bath and a probe ultrasound system. Ultrasonic cleaning bath is used to sonicate liquid samples in a vessel whilst the probe systems introduce vibration into the liquid samples directly.
